The code arrives by email. Forward it, print it, or sit on it until the day itself.

They spend it at checkout. The code goes in the same box as a discount code, at the last step.

It is a code, not a card. Nothing gets posted, so nothing gets lost on the way.

Part of an order is fine. If the order costs more than the card, you pay the difference as usual.
